PRAYER
We desire to be a praying church.
Beginning February 16, 2025, we’ll be gathering to pray from 3-3:40pm on Sunday afternoon before our worship gathering.
Additionally, there are ongoing regular men’s and women’s prayer meetings. Times and locations for these are provided in advance in our weekly email newsletter.
Priorities for Prayer
We’ve asked our church to join us in praying for growth in the following areas.
For their growth and maturity; for their spiritual and relational health; for their increased desire to pray regularly for our church.
Gospel Communities
For our Sunday gathering to be a means of God’s grace, rest, encouragement, and sustenance; that we would turn from the cultural idols that steal our affection from God; that we would prioritize our participation in the local church—both in the Sunday gathering and in understanding ourselves as a body of people who have committed to follow Jesus together.
Our Local Church
For a sense of urgency to share the gospel with those in our families, friendships, neighborhoods, and workplaces; to faithfully live out the implications of the gospel in everyday life; that we would be sensitive to opportunities to plant seeds; that we wouldn’t grow discouraged if the process feels slow.
Missional Living
For All People
That our hearts would be burdened to regularly pray for the salvation of people who are outside our spheres of influence; that the gospel would go forth to every tribe, and tongue, and nation; that the global church would be strengthened and sustained by the Holy Spirit.
For our hearts to be freshly amazed at the magnitude of the goodness, grace, and mercy of God and moved to respond in prayer and praise; that we would commit to pray regularly for the life and health of our church; that we would be moved to pray for the unbelievers in our spheres of influence.
